I have of a problem with Corvette Mods selling me a C6 front splitter for a base C6. It does not fit. So far trying to get a refund does not work. Sent pics and a short video. Told me do get a professional installer. After getting a rma number. They did not say if I will be given a full refund and shipping
charges. RMA came thru Automotive Returns. Search them and came back Scams. https://autoreturns.returnsportal.net/. Anybody with help I need it. All I want is a refund and shipping back.
Help!
Communicate in writing so you can have the emails at a later date as proof that you were acting in good faith. Send them an email stating that you have an RMA and that you are sending the part back with the agreement that you will be refunded since the part is not for your vehicle. Wait two days for a response. If no response, send it back. If you don't get a timely refund, then open up a dispute with your credit card. In my experience, my credit card company has had my back in every dispute case I have opened and I have always been refunded my money. I don't know why anyone would use anything other than a credit card from a large company such as Chase, Capitol One, or Amex when making purchases online.
I see your new to this forum, thus you likely didn't know that Corvette Mods has the worst reputation of any vendor that sells Corvette parts.
They used to be a forum vendor, but were dropped due to their poor service and shafting customers.
I wish you good luck for a refund, but that may not happen.

In the same boat on another return with Corvette Mods. I did do the RMA through them today, so we'll see what happens. Not happy about having to register for a 3rd party site to get an RMA, but...
FYI, double-check the return address; the one Automotive Returns used on their RMA form AND on their "shipping label" was incorrect.
I suspect this is all about Corvette Mods trying to a) make it as difficult as possible to return and b) putting off as long as possible actually issuing a credit. This looks like Yet Another Company that is essentially Corvette Mods.
And oh, yes - you'll be eating the shipping back because you're "refusing" a perfectly good part...
Cease dealing with them and do a charge back on your credit card. They don't listen and will ignore you until you give up. My wife ordered stuff from them for Christmas for me, I said Oh no babe, I wish you would have asked what vendors are good. She finally told me when she was upset she wasn't going to get it in time for Christmas, even though they told her it would be there in plenty of time, I told her to call her cc and do a charge back. She got her money back.
My opinion, every one of the Forums need the first post to say "DON"T BUY FROM CORVETTE MODS"
These guys just keep screwing people. That's just not right.

Their history of screwing over customers goes back a long way, not only here, but kicked off other forums as well, ask me how I know......
Just don't deal with them....period.
Corvette Mods was removed from this site as a vendor years ago. Many threads are archived here for reference. They will not be responding to the dispute reported in this thread.
