1. 12-24-19: Sent payment
2. 3-4-20: Waiting patiently but did finally send an email , Response: Apologies for the delayed response, but it looks like the last batch of widebody firment components will go out late this week.

3. 3-11-20: Again sent email asking about tracking number, Response:
"No need for concern. I promise, we haven't decided to ruin our reputation in order to steal a few hundred dollars.

Alan, the owner, had a bad car accident which has everything on shipping hold until late this week, but I'll have you tracking first thing in the morning, tomorrow morning.
We appreciate your patience and promise we're always worth the wait!!"
4. 3-19-20: No response, tracking number, or product
You'll find this company has a very long history of this. Alan appears to be the unluckiest guy in the world and his business seems to shut down if he is not involved. I do not recommend doing business with this company and I hope this thread keeps someone from making the same mistake I did.

And if you read their return policy, it states that you can only cancel or return your order if it is defective, you can't cancel because they are taking too long. Not sure how that can be upheld, but I'm glad I used my credit card so they can deal with it.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

In addition, additional posts made here will be reviewed.
Note, I have reopened this thread in order to allow the vendor to respond to some of the issues stated here.
However, the thread remains under review and there will be no more posts by third parties here.
Local to the area?
Stop in or send a friend by to check out our office. We're brick and mortar and someone is almost always available to show you around.
Anyway, Mike and his concerning/unsettling personal interest here aside, whom I won't address again: the idea that we're trying to broad-daylight screw people out of a whopping three hundred and fifty dollars on one of our more active revenue generators is patently absurd.
I can't believe anyone would be so quick to believe that a vendor with Magazine Cover status and years of good service to these forums would be so God Damned stupid as you're trying to pretend we are.
I mean, for such a small amount of money, in the middle of a group with such a well known and otherwise big mouthes, what could I POSSIBLY have hoped to gain here by not having an intention to ship product?
The more likely event isn't "man, the guy is really going the extra mile to make sure we get the best possible product"?
After the HUNDREDS of satisfied orders delivered, the most reasonable thing here is "welp, he finally decided that a few hundred bucks was enough to make him throw it all away"?
I can't be the only one hearing this out loud and realizes how insane the premise is.
Anyway, just like a lot of the rest of you, we're in a mandatory shut down of all non-essential businesses, so Sara is working from home (and was recently sick as some of you know), so that's why you weren't getting replies to PM's, all while we do our very best to sort things out and fill in the missing personnel.
We met with local officials today to get clearance to reopen, which we've been granted, but I've also given my team the opportunity to stay home (with pay) if they feel unsafe.
They decided to work a rotating schedule amongst themselves in an effort to help keep things moving, so while things will continue to be slow, they WILL continue moving.
Thank God for a great and amazing team.
That having been said, here are two points of order.
1. I won't get dragged down into a mud-slinging back and forth because we ran long perfecting fitment and I apparently lie about my "exceptional personal life events"., including an accident that totalled my suv (pics attached)
I honestly don't give half a turd if you're mad because we refuse to ship garbage, because you'd be WAY more upset with speedy trash than with slow excellence.
If you requested a refund, you'll get it late this week or early next, if you don't want to wait for us to finalize some small things we'd initially thought we resolved. (pics below)
If you didn't contact us and went straight to a charge back, you'll wait for the process to play out, because we can't refund you twice since PayPal already yoked the money back.
May the odds ever be in your favor. *🤷♂️ *
2. For those of you who are making a TON of noise and charged us back AFTER we shipped your product: you have until Monday to either pay for your parts or send them back.
If we don't get one or the other, we're naming names and will take the necessary and appropriate actions to get satisfaction.
No exceptions.
So, that's that and this will be my first, last, and only comment on this situation.
I won't reply again because as I said, I won't get into mud slinging or feed the unnecessary, and unREASONABLE frenzy.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me directly at alan@g3carbon.com and you'll receive an answer between normal business hours.
For the other LITERAL 20+ other people who have been patient: thank you.
We're taking names and working on a giveaway we're going to send your way as a small token of your thanks. (we'll be emailing you to ask if you need a S, M, L, or XL before we ship)
So, in the mean time, please practice you social distancing, wash your hands often, try to avoid touching your faces, stay home unless it's necessary, and we'll get through this together.
Be safe, always.
Here's the kid who hit me at nearly double the speed limit... "fantastic life events", indeed

So now that I seem to have your attention lets continue to move towards a resolution. I don't need long replies, A simply answer to these questions will do:
1. You provided a tracking number in response to my pay-pal dispute. Why does that tracking number not produce any tracking information?
2. I have received no product, you have admitted the product has not shipped. Why must the pay-pal dispute "play out"? Simply agree to return my money instead of providing tracking numbers to nothing.
A simply answer to these factual questions will do. No long responses needed
We hand them the parts, they box and ship.) which is why we ordered custom boxes) Historically, it's been a **** show with them doing so quickly. (or at all, in several cases)
2a. I didn't say we weren't finished.
I said "we had to take more time than expected to GET finished", which is why I posted pics of the actual parts on an actual car.
2b. PayPal already took your money out of the account. I won't refund the same money twice.
No reasonable person would be expected to do that.
Hopefully this meets your standard for brevity, which we all know is the soul of wit.
