Default Anyone order from PFYC.com?

Was wondering if anyone here has ordered before from PFYC.com (PartsForYourCar)? I had ordered some new wheels from them but now I am not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling. Besides the order confirmation email, have not heard from them since. I have tried to call on a number of occasions but every time the call goes to VM. So far none of my messages have been returned. All I was requesting was an ETA as to when they would ship.

Couple things have me concerned. First if you Google Maps their address listed on their website, it is basically in the middle of nowhere! In the middle of farm land. There is another address which is a building that does aircraft sales. Now they do say they so not ship from their location, so maybe this is a side job for someone or it is operating out of an office in that building and all they do is drop ship from the part vendors?

Online reviews for PFYC are not exactly stellar. In fact down right bad. The fact I have left multiple messages with no replies is not a good sign and unacceptable customer service.

BUT....they are listed as a platinum vendor here on this forum and post quite a bit and also a good rating on BBB.

I hope I am wrong about them, otherwise I will have to stop payment *they did process my CC).

I ordered a cargo mat from them weeks ago with nothing but radio silence. No one picks up a phone call. Maybe this virus thing? Seems everyone is lagging some these days, but I hope something happens soon.

You have to assume that most of these smaller vendors are either not in the office or working on a skeleton crew at best. Hence, orders from these smaller shops, will be substantially delayed - that has to be expected.

Disagree... If ANY business has a delay due to current situation, they should at least post details on their website. I don't think that is asking too much from any vendor. Small or large. They seem to be fine @ taking orders.....

I have purchased from PFYC years ago and there were no issues.

These are very different times right now. Good chance they are down and possibly out from this pandemic. Plus Vendors they are dealing with are most likely either closed or working at a much slower pace than usual. I’d expect orders from almost all vendors on parts to be slowed down now as well as shipping. I know USPS package delivery for the past 60 days is ridiculously bad.

Im not sure what you are disagreeing with? Small companies are either closed or have only a handful of folks there. Orders are done ONLINE...not over the phone - so orders can come in non stop - doesn't mean there is anyone there to process them... Also - if they are not there, then their website isn't getting updated either...Im not saying that its not a good idea to have "some" sort of communication, but to "expect" it in times like this, in a small company...your in a dream world.

He says right on his website he doesn't ship from his location. Most likely he runs this business from a single computer and has the parts drop shipped to the customers directly from the vendors. Not that uncommon. So yes, there could be delays. But to not reply to customer's messages.......unacceptable. Most of the complaints I read mentioned the same thing. He is obviously working, he processed my CC.

I agree with you 100%. I was just giving thoughts on what is probably going on even though I ageee they need to communicate with you AND post on their website about their issues pertaining to their service due to the pandemic.
I hope it works out fir you.

@PFYC has a thread just below this one where they posted today... so apparently, they are out there somewhere. Maybe they can respond to here?

Funny you say that. While they were online here on this forum, I sent a message via this forum. Nothing nasty, just asking for an update and that I had left previous VM's.

Absolutely nothing! They were online a good 20 minutes or so after I sent it. Well will be contacting my CC company.

I emailed them last night from their site and they got right to me this morning. As I suspected it is the virus thing, and the vendor that makes my product just reopened and have back orders to fill and will send tracking as soon as it is ready. This friggin virus thing has changed a lot of things and even shipping is slow. I have sent things 3 days and had it take five or six. I think we all need patience, though it’s hard sometimes. They do have things on their site also about the Covid mess.

Oh I get it 100%. Things are messed up right now. What is not acceptable is the lack of communication. If they replied back to me saying they are still waiting on their vendor for info, I would be 100% fine with that. I ordered a set of wheels which is a sizable dollar amount.

Covid is one thing, but that’s no excuse not to respond in a timely manner. Anything longer then a few days is unacceptable IMO During these hard times That’s my 2 cents done

Well good news. I guess contacting the CC company lite a fire. The wheels had already shipped out and are in route. So looks like a happy ending to this story!

Not a miracle, I PM'd the sponsor and suggested that he might want to look at this thread. So, does that make me a "Miracle worker"?

Hey people... we need to keep in mind that not all was that bad...the wheel order above was only 3 or 4 days old when he reported it to his cc company...it wasnt like it was 3 or 4 weeks old. For wheels to get turned around that fast is pretty darn good. When he filed his claim, his wheels were already shipped. So lets not jump to conclusions that are not fully disclosed. Not trying to he a hero, just honest.

Next, we apologize for anyone that is or has been trying to call, we have been very busy on the phones. They are ringing off of the hook daily. The Sales/Customer Service Team is answering about 100 calls per day.

If you have an issue with an order or a question about an order, it would be best to email us at info@pfyc.com

Thank you all and stay healthy,

I have ordered 2 different types of exhaust from PFYC, first was a flowmaster. It took them almost a week and after me trying to reach them several times on estimated ship times. finally got a response saying from PFYC saying that exhaust is no longer available but YET it is still on the website. I ordered the SLP exhaust same thing multiple emails to get shipping time and I find out it is 6 weeks out but they went ahead and billed my cc. covid is an excuse used by many poor business activities and it seems this one uses it quite frequently. I even told them they should not have billed my cc and why does it not show item on backorder on the website. I have contacted my cc company to flag the transaction just in case I need to dispute it. very disappointed in this service, I can understand delays especially right now but the lack of communication or concern on their part is another issue. Here's to crossing my fingers I get my exhaust.
