Yesterday I logged on and began shopping for the parts for my current project. I had about 500 dollars worth of stuff in the shopping cart this time around and went to check out.
Site would not process card. Said there was a fraud alert. I called my bank and there was not issue with the card and the sale had been approved but had not gone through. Called Ecklers and waited about 25 minutes on hold to finally speak with someone who could not help. Called back again and waited another 20 min then the call was hung up on their end.
How has Ecklers been for anyone here have you had similar issues? Do you find them easy to deal with?
Sorry I can't answer your question directly about Ecklers.(although my past experiences with their customer service has been ok).
But since the Covid situation, I've run into a lot of weird issues with processing payments and poor customer service problems with on-line purchases.
Not sure if most of these vendors have people working remotely and either its the second tier people handling things or poor home to office technology that's causing problems. I've also found dealing with issues on a weekend/holiday only magnifies the problems.
You might want to call back on Monday and see if you get better service or resolution.
Good luck.....
If I had to guess, it may have triggered a safety feature when using a debit/credit card due to the amount. Some cards are like that with daily spending limits of $500, $1000 or more. Can be annoying but it’s a just in case someone not you for your card and wanted to go on a spending spree. Also applies to ATM withdrawal daily limits as well.

I contacted my bank and the bank had approved it. Ecklers just never processed it after the approval.
It must be the Covid issue that is creating a problem for vendors.
I placed an order with TPIs for a few small parts that their website indicated were in stock. Paid for expedited shipping and after a week with no alert for it being shipped, I called them. The woman said it should ship out by the end of the week. Two additional weeks later and now there is no answers to email or phone calls.
Summit racing products continue to be delivered in one or two days!
I dealt with them when I 1st started my project, but frankly, there too expensive and they're shipping fees are ridiculous. I use Corvette America a lot, good prices, and they usually offer free shipping. Yeah, I use Summit a lot too, have always received my orders in three days or less, with free shipping on $99 or more
I ordered a few things early on as well and along the lines of what others said, prices were too high and the quality was crap on many items. Covid might have something to do with it, but I doubt it. This is obviously just one example, but I'm ordering three times the crap I normally do and I have actually had less issues and faster shipping than I did before Covid.
Ordered on 4/19/21. All 3 items ordered showed as "in stock."
Received floor mats and console door button/w spring without issue within days on placing the order.
Part # 106249 center console cushion shipped on 5/18/21.
The part I ordered on 4/19 included these instructions (.pdf)
The part I received 4 weeks later looks like this and is described correctly in the link above. This item is also direct-ship from manufacture, making me wonder if vender changed product design, didn't tell Eckler's, Eckler's knew and didn't care. I spoke with Cory(SP) in customer service. By the time we were done, he just, and I mean just stopped short of calling me a liar. He explained how many people call and try ripping off Eckler's. I explained to him that I enjoy disposable income, and there are plenty of sellers out there.

I'm waiting on a set of headers from tpis, they said mid may so I'm hoping any day now. They make them in batches
I also agree that Eckler's shipping charges are excessive, and usually more than other vendors. And finally, using the Chinese virus as an excuse is getting real old, Most companies have adjusted their staff and CS personnel by this time. There are too many other good companies out there to deal with rather than to be bothered by this one...
[Ecklers contacted me via FB, and offered to help. That was Tuesday...
