I returned something to this company, and they weren't answering emails. Did a chargeback, and amazingly, I received a response within 24 hours. Unfortunately this is their response:
"You sent up an RMA but we did not receive the return tracking to confirm the receipt by the mfg.
The item(s) are still in your possession; therefore, this is a case of Cyber Theft and a fraudulent claim against Corvette Mods, LLC and will be handled as such.
Please be advised that we have retained a 3rd party collections agency and will submit your account to collections if we do not get a written notice response back in 48 hours regarding this matter.
Option 1:
Provide written evidence from your card issuer that this dispute has been closed
Option 2:
Make an immediate payment with us for the items in possession
Option 3:
Return the items with valid tracking within 48 hours to
10100 Hicks Field Rd
Ft Worth TX 76179
If we do not hear back from you by tomorrow at noon (CST), we will assume you have no intention of returning the items or paying for the item(s) and we will proceed with the action as noted above.
"
I'm not that worried about any of this, and I'm sure I'll find the return tracking number and shove it you know where, but I would suggest just avoiding them all together. No company should treat a customer like that without good reason. Just avoid
Yep never heard a good word about them. Sounds like they are just out there using and abusing their customers. I hope one day I read they have closed up shop. One can only imagine what kind of fraudulent activity a company with a reputation such as theirs is up to that DON'T include their customers...tax evasion or other unscrupulous behaviors come to mind. Maybe someday they'll end up in the clink..who knows...
I really wish I had researched before I bought from them. Their customer service is outsourced overseas, and it's not worth a damn. Apparently, if you contact them about a partially unfulfilled order (I received one drop shipped item out of four) and receive no response, you shouldn't contact them again or they'll move your case to the end of the queue. I guess that means that after I emailed, waited several days, then called and still received no response, THEN emailed a third time...it's probably going to be months before I hear anything. I will never buy from them again.
IMPORTANT:
**Please Note- Sending multiple emails under the same request or creating new email or support requests will move your request to the back of the queue. We ask that you send one request and allow a response prior to responding again so your requests are not further delayed**
Hi. It´s already over two weeks from my purchase by corvettemods and I still see "Processing" under status by my order. Before placing order I have double checked if everything is available. I´ve ordered parts for 1326USD and 299USD cost shipping (I´m from Czech republic). So I have paid 1619USD and now I am reading everywhere how fraudulent this company is https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/corvettemods.com I give them one more week. Just wrote them email and if they dont answer till next friday and dont send my parts, I cancel my payment via Chargeback in my bank.

To update my post: CorvetteMods DID respond. I was given a tracking number for one part, and was told I'd be given a tracking number for the two back ordered parts when available. My issue still rides that I wouldn't have heard anything without harassing them several times. The website shows that the order is filled, including a tracking number for the one item that was drop shipped. With their reputation among the Corvette community, I would think they would redesign the website to show accurate status updates on all parts they're drop shipping.
