I just bought the FI Interchiller from CSP. It is the best one in my opinion.

I had a question about interchiller that i never got a straight answer for.. Maybe you guys know...
Since it uses AC, and usually running AC at the track is a big NO, since it leaks condensation on floor.

How does all that work with interchiller ?? Do you still get condensation which leaks on ground ?

They claim to have no condensation for the interchiller, not sure about the ac unit though.

Im not sure about the Interchiller specifically but normally the race valve isolates the evaporator in the cabin and does not drip condensation.

I have this set up on my car, just know that you can't use the cars normal cooling system with the AC off...ever, unless they have fixed and modified their package since Aug 2020 - I did a recent full build there (huge mistake) and with the AC off the normal cooling system doesn't work at all. I was told by the engineer at Weapon X that they needed to redesign the system as it has some flaws (he told me he was quitting so I'm not sure if they have actually taken steps to fix this problem) Apparently it needs a different diverter valve and to be thought out a little better (his words) as it wants to bypass most of the normal set up when not using the freon. They had my car for 5 weeks trying to figure out why it wasn't working (among fixing another issue) and was left with "just use the AC at all times".

I would avoid buying anything form Weapon X, Ownership doesn't care about customers

Spent almost 40K and was basically lied to & dicked around. I will be putting up a full post with screen shots to tell the story...just need to find the time to do it - have way more important things on my plate, just need to take some time to put it all together.

LOL wow, this is absolute garbage and BS like this is why I have little interest in doing builds anymore and simply focusing on products, like our inception. Talking to places like BTR and other companies involved in making parts, they have shared the same sentiments as to why they don’t do builds.

This guy rushed his build out, insisted on picking it up the first time to make some car show 🙄 and we told him it hasn’t been verified and it needed time to be checked over after some street time because we finished it the day before (within our estimated time still) and he didn’t want to let us verify it in our post build protocol. Of course something goes wrong, his AC compressor took a dump, which is not only something we have never seen, but something we don’t even modify whatsoever. So it came back, compressor is on national back order due to COVID shutdown and the car was there for longer than expected, but he didn’t want a used compressor. To no surprise, after it was installed, my engineer had to fight him off trying to come pick it up multiple times after it was installed but again not verified to make sure all was ok, which was a good thing because the chiller line had a kink in it. I even paid to replace some crappy one piece fiberglass fender flare that cracked trying to get the two sided tape off of it to get the front bumper off.

He didn’t have to pay for any of this sans an oil change despite what he was told about picking the car up before it was done!

And now he is wanting to badmouth us because I haven’t called him per his email after what he’d already said about us. So, while I’m sorry this guy had some issues, unfortunately his own impatience and BS is the reason for his follies... and I STILL ate another couple grand in shop time and parts trying to make it right for him.

The reality is, these chillers have been insane and we’ve sold so many of them that I haven’t even marketed them much. But we just did another C7Z here on an install with our SPI kit and chiller kit and temps never got over 90*, having started at 20*!

This same kit is on three of my cars including staving off the heat of my compound boost ZL1 that sees 40psi on a 427. Hell, in testing my ATS V didn’t even have a HX and ran solely off the chiller for boost and never had an issue in 2 years with any parts. The chiller is hands down the best cooling option, available.
