I ordered a C5 domed steering wheel decal from RPI on August 27th. I immediately got a confirmation email with an order #. The email advised that I would get another email telling me when my order shipped. I was under the impression that this was an in stock item, so when I had not heard anything back, I sent them a polite email on September 3rd asking if they knew when my order would ship. I waited another 5 days with absolutely no response at all to my email. I then sent another email. I also sent a PM to RPI DON on the forum. Still I had no response at all to me emails or PM. Yesterday, I sent a PM to RPI Designs (who manages their vendor listing per the vendor directory). I STILL have not received a response of any kind from my multiple attempts at communication. I had really hoped for better customer service from a forum vendor. I am hoping that the forum can help to resolve this issue.
I ordered a battery cover on August 7th, and immediately received a confirmation email from Josh with an order number. I haven't heard a peep from anybody since. Ridiculous.

After being asked by the OP, I will be reaching out to the vendor concerning the complaints mentioned in this thread. While I can't guarantee any resolution, I will report what response, if any, I get.

My order confirmation email was from Josh as well.

Thanks Jack! I really appreciate any help you can give.
I received 2 PMs this morning. The first one from RPIDON asked me what color decal I wanted. The second much more honest PM was from RPI Designs. It told me they've had issues due to Covid, and that the decal I ordered is on back order with no reasonable ETA on when they might get more in. They asked if I wanted to wait or cancel my order. I replied that I would like to cancel my order. We'll see if I get a quick refund to my PayPal account, or if I will have to open a dispute through PayPal.
A HUGE shout out to Vetteman Jack on this one. Without your intervention, I would never have heard back.
I was going to order a set of K/O wheels from RPI Designs for my 66 Coupe. Not sure I want to PayPal them after reading all of the complaints. Has anyone purchased K/O wheels from them?

I've never ordered wheels from them. However, I think the posts in this section speak for themselves. Order at your own risk.
They have had lots of forum business over time and with very good results satisfied customers....I've used them at least ten times...all good. Look like a lot more problems going on this year though for what ever reason...Good luck out there...
I had to get the Ohio Atty General and the BBB involved due to RPIs deceptive business practices. They even tried to lie & deceive them, I still have the paper trail for that. Shortly after, I got a call from the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) about them. I gave them all the info, but don't know whatever resulted from that.
I have come to the same conclusion as you have. They didn't respond to phone call messages or emails until I started asking around about others' experiences. After that, I finally received an email response saying that the product I ordered is on backorder. I'm probably going to file a dispute with Amex on the charge to my card.
