I purchased an elite engineering catch can for my LS3 grand sport on september 4th, 2020. Item was shown to be in stock. There is a message directly on the RPI designs website that says in stock items will shiip within 24 hours. I waited 12 days (unitl the 16th) before sending an email because my order was still in "processing". No response. I called twice, once on the 17th and again on the 18th and could not get in contact with anyone. I have since put in a dispute with my CC company and reordered the same catch directly from elite engineering on 09/20/20. I received the catch can this morning 09/21/20 @ 10am. Less than 24 hours and I had my item at my front door! I also asked elite engineering if there were any backorder issues (something I've read RPI always claims when items are delayed) they said no issued on their end. I'm not trying to bash RPI but I would like to warn other forum members to take their business elsewhere. I understand that the current situation (covid) is causing a lot if issues for some businesses but that does not justify accepting money for an item and giving absolutely no communication whatsoever. If an item is delayed or your having issued because of the current pandemic you need to communicate with the customer. If RPI would have responded and told me the catch can wouldn't be here for another month I would have gladly waited. Again, just a warning to my fellow corvette owners to look elsewhere.

 

Apparently RPI and Southern Car Parts are one and the same company. Accordingly, both display the same issue of lack of communication and poor customer service. Several posts regarding this issue here on the transactions forum... Don't get why a company would not strive to correct a situation such as this to accommodate their customers.
