Add me to the list. I was unaware of this Transaction Forum and ordered weatherstripping from Corvette Mods. THEN I searched for reviews. Like I said, "fool"! I immediately tried to cancel the order stating I had ordered the wrong parts. (Yeah I lied....)
They said they were forwarding my request to their "cancellation team". Then they notified me the order was processing.I responded DO NOT SHIP. Next email....order has shipped! All this within 2 days. Finally got someone on the phone after calling repeatedly. He says cancellations are not guaranteed....would not transfer me to a higher up person....
I am currently filing a claim with PayPal. (Glad I used them...maybe I’ll get a refund.)
Just unbelievable that a company can operate like this and still be in business.
Just now, while posting this I get this email——

Your request to cancel order #AB-XXXXX has been denied due to the order already having been shipped under tracking #XXXXXXXXXXX.

Please place a compliant with the Texas State Attorney General, if in fact they have not shipped
and or provided a fake tracking number.
Texas State Attorney General is the only one with teeth to shut them down
I have my doubts that your order was processed and shipped within 2 days... Shame you didn't know beforehand that there are pages of complaints about CM and their other company name which is Modern Gen Auto. Same company, same BS and poor service... GOOD LUCK!
PayPal is on it. I have contacted FedEx. It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow! I have decided to not accept it and "return to sender". FedEx said to write Refused - Return to Shipper on it, and not to open it. I will make sure to get a tracking number because they would probably say they didn’t receive it. When it is returned PayPal says they will reimburse me. We'll see what happens. Thanks for your responses.
Update: Package actually arrived 4days from order. I suspect they rushed the order to get ahead of the cancellation request.
