Default CorvetteMods.com

Hello, I'm new to the forum. Recently purchased a 2019 Z51 Corvette. I'm in love with the car and have purchased several aftermarket items for my car. I purchased a few of these from Corvettemods.com. One item was a rim protector kit. When I received it the kit was lacking the activator pads and the protector strip was jammed in a small box with the backing peeling off. It took me over two weeks to get a return authorization. I got a refund minus my shipping fees and got charged a restocking fee. Is this the kind of service I should expect from this company? Nobody there will even answer my phone calls. Are there any other reliable vendors that you folks can recommend? The car is awesome and I so enjoy taking her out for drives!

There have been 15 separate threads posted about problems with Corvettemods in the Transactions Feedback forum in the last year. They used to be forum vendors, but not any more.

Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on your C7!
Unfortunately, your experience with Corvette Mods (they are also using the name Modern Gen Auto), is very common, as Vette DD pointed out.
Before any purchase, it is wise to check the business or individual in the Transactions Feedback section at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-feedback-153/.
You will probably get more feedback on the best companies to use in the C7 General Discussion section; https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...2014-2019-141/
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!

Many threads on this vendor in the Transactions Feedback section. Sorry you did not make a post inquiring about this vendor before you made the purchase, but being new you probably did not know the history of the vendor nor that there were threads about purchases from them by other members.

And yes, this is the type of service other members have received from the vendor.

I would suggest posting a thread in the C7 General section asking for vendor recommendations. Meanwhile, I am moving this to the Transactions Feedback section and closing the thread.
