Corvette Modds bad experience
I am in the process of replacing all the hoses on my 85. Looked like Corvette Mods had all in stock so I ordered from them. Ordered the parts on 06/05. Got an email saying they are processing the order on 06/07. I received one of the hoses on 06/14. On 06/18 I get an email that says they need an extra $99 dollars because there vendor unexpectedly raised there prices. This is on an $88.99 sent part that to this day is still advertised on there web site at $88.98! I called there “ customer service number, there only response is you will have to send an email there is nothing they can do. I told them to cancel my order and again was told I would have to email them there is nothing customer support can help with. I sent an email cancelling the rest of my order and they took out of my reimbursement an extra $12.00 for shipping charges ( I already paid $20.00 for shipping) on the original order) and a $5.00 processing fee. I once again called there customer service number only to be told yet again that Customer service can’t help me I will have to send an E mail!
if anyone here is looking for parts be warned about Corvette Mods!
I ordered parts from them that were listed as in stock only to receive an email saying that they weren't in stock a few days later and that they could source them from some place else if I let them bill my card some more money. And it would take another month on top of that.
Doesn't take much thought to figure out what they were actually doing there.
Once! Never again.
I did finally get my money back though.
Best to do what ChumpVette said to do. And don't waste any time about it.
