Derek Abel at Abel Chevrolet located in Rio Vista California is AWESOME! My wife and I (from NJ) were in our 25th Anniversary trip to Cali last week, gifted by our Girls. After spending a few days at Napa, we were driving down to Yosemite, when a shiny Rapid Blue C8 caught the corner of my eye as we were passing by the Abel Chevrolet Dealership. I told my wife I need to make a U-Turn to go see the baby... there she was next to a Red Mist which her owner was just picking up (you could tell by his proud ear to ear smile) and another Sebring Orange. Sitting on the wait list to get my own '22 baby at Kerbeck Corvette (now Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City NJ), the only experience (other than watching YT videos and playing with Chevy's Build site), is getting to see one live at Ciocca... but nothing more than that... not even to touch one out of respect for their owner. Well, you can imagine how my heart was racing when Derek came out of the showroom and introduced himself and after introducing myself and telling him we were from the other side of the country visiting and I was trying to patiently wait for my call from Ciocca so that one day I could have my own and actually sit in one... Derek said let me get the keys... What! Are You Serious! As we got in the pretty Blue Baby and she woke up with a rumble to tell me to "...get in while I take my Top Down and show you what it feels like ...", I WAS IN HEAVEN!!!!! The next 15 to 20 min was a BLUR in Derek's Baby... OMG! What an experience.

His Rapid Blue build is almost the near identical build that I have in mind. Even after the exhilarating ride in his baby, he patiently chatted with my wife and I, telling us about different build options and his views... and then to top it off further, he went in his office and got a bunch of information for us on Yosemite including vouchers from his membership, etc.

I have to say, if this is the level of personal experience that Derek and his team brings to someone who he knew is not a prospective customer (...or 'am now!), I can't imagine what level of experience his customers must enjoy! Derek, YOU added another layer to our unforgettable 25th Anniversary Trip... my wife and I will not forget. THANK YOU!

I don't know when I will get that call from Ciocca Corvette to start creating by own baby... but until then, Derek Abel and his Abel Chevrolet Dealership in Rio Vista California have given me an experience... my first in a C8, that I will never forget! Derek, I may have to come calling...
