Default Rpi designs- rip off

Beware of RPI DESIGNS and their subsidiaries NAKID PART SALES they are a rip off. Tried to return an item, was sent to customer service
and got a recording that said they would call me back, that never happened back in July and it hasn’t happened again. Beware of these two
companies, they also try passing the buck from one company to another, but they are the same. BEWARE!!

Seems like there's been a lot of negative reviews of RPI lately, which is unfortunate since I believe they used to be considered one of the good upstanding forum sponsors. I ordered an air filter from them last week and it was drop-shipped direct to me from the manufacturer so there's one positive review at least.

Yeah I have quite a few C7 products from them from back in like 2017-ish and my experience was fantastic with them. But I've seen a ton of complaints about them the last 2 years.

Default Hmm?

Back in the C6 days, I did business with Ed. He then morphed into Nakid Parts. Story to tell, but no time to tell it. He was a shining star among Vette parts retailers. Then he had his issues. And his son took over. Moved from NY to Las Vegas. Then sold to RPI. RPI was decent back in the day. But a couple of owner transfers have not been kind to them. My last RPI purchase was a horrible deal. The website description and what I received were just not even close to the same. I asked to send it back and got a tough love response. RPI thought it should be good enough if I didn't agree. See ya'. Last rodeo with them.

Did you use a credit card? Challenge the charge with the credit card company. They'll get you your money back.

I wondered if RPI was sold. I don't know if Josh still owns it or not. I know they bought out Ed at Nakid Parts years ago. I wondered what ever happened to Ed.

Default Rpi worst company to work with

I've waited 2 weeks for a simple toe rod to ship and when I started getting impatient and called in you quickly realize the customer service option is fake and will hand up on you every time. nun the less I called over 10 times through out the day in their hours of operation and got nothing
I also sent a message on their website with no reply. The next day I called again repeatedly about 20 times between the customer support option and new orders. New orders will occasionally get you to the single ******* with nothing helpful to say working the other line and no supervisor to speak of. I immediately demanded a refund. This company is ABHORRENT and not only will I never work with them again I Recommend no one else ever does

that sucks....I can not believe that a company would act this way. Most of the **** they sell is vanity items for our cars, and fall into the disposable income for a lot of us. When I feel like spending money on my car, I spend money on my car. R.p.i has taken themselves off the list of buisnesses that will see another dime from me. So stupid.

RPI is a joke, their website claims they are BBB accredited, I can confirm THEY ARE NOT. They refused to work with the BBB at all on my complaint..

Default Order issue

Having read all these threads, I’m beginning to wonder about them. I ordered American Racing headers back in December. Still have not received them. My emails have been answered, though.

I've had a good experience with RPI on everything I've bought from them in the past 3 years. In December I decided to finally buy my painted fluid cap covers. It took a good while to get them, but their website did say 4 to 6 week lead time for painted parts. I knew when I purchased that it was going to take time to get. When they arrived I found that the power steering cap cover was too big. I contacted RPI through messages here on the forum and communication was great. They had my painted replacement cap in about 2 weeks. I ordered the painted intake cover as well. Again.... it took some time to get, but when it came in I was as happy with the paint quality as I was with the caps. I also purchased the painted fuel rail letters, and am currently waiting for them to come it at the moment, and I'm sure I'll be just as happy when they come it. I feel confident that if there is an issue that I can contact RPIDON, and have issues corrected.

Very happy with RPI Designs. My parts took longer than expected originally as the custom order took 8 weeks. But communication was good and RPIDON gave me updates when requested.

Default Total Rip off

The absolute worst company I have done business with. Sent me a used wrong part instead of a new correct part that I ordered. Customer service refuses to return calls or answer my email. My Visa bank card company has not received an answer from them, so they have given me credit for this transaction and now going after RPI Design.
