Why in the world would anybody ever use Ecklers, the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. Ordered something online from them the description is wrong the item number is not the one I ordered or even one that you can track down on their website. Spent 3+ hours trying to get a hold of them on the phone no one will answer have sent six or more emails and only response is an order number. No delivery date no nothing.
It’s too bad that a company that supposedly sells this many items as the BAD customer service. If anyone has any idea on how I can get a hold of them they would actually respond I would appreciate it.

Never plan to order from them again.

My Eckler's experience...Ordered two parts mid September, chose Eckler's mostly because they had the parts in stock ready to ship.....I receive a partial shipment with no word on the status of my second part....give it a week.....still no part.....check web which says it is still available.....another week....... now decide to track it down.......Call customer service......wait 2 hours all while listening to a recording about their "world class customer service" .......wait......wait....I really want to force their president to have to listen to this.......after 2 hours and 14 minutes someone answers.......A nice lady tells me that they have a new computer system that is whack. I ask her to check my order and then she enters in the PO and then we both wait..........finally she pulls up the record after about 2 minutes waiting on her computer.......Now she says the part was back ordered and is now in stock and if I give my credit card info again, it might break the log jam. She tells me that with the new system it would have been stuck forever had I not spent the 2 hours to talk with someone.......I know that new computer systems can suck, but I am not sure they can survive like this for long with this kind of "world class service". I sure hope they can figure out their computer issues.

A lot of these mail order houses are just freight forwarders, they don't manufacture anything, just middlemen, and they don't give a crap.

 

The solution is simple: Don't buy from Eckler's. Either they'll improve their service or go out of business. Months ago there were scads of complaints about Corvette Mods. Since members posted on this forum and alerted others about their rotten service, the complaints have been few ostensibly due to members avoiding them. Spend your money with a company that actually values your business.

 

Corvette Mods was removed as a site vendor in 2015.
