Sharing my experience for others knowledge. The below provides a timeline from July to present on an order placed with Weapon-X Motorsports for wheel spacers and extended thread lug nuts.

Asked for refund and return shipping label

Accepted response
9/5
Emailed Weapon-X as I had not received a shipping notice yet
9/8

No lug nuts included
Emailed Weapon-X to notify them of the missing lug nuts

Ordered correct lug nuts from Amazon as I had a feeling (turns out to be correct) that they were not going to come through
10/1
Emailed Weapon-X, as I had not received lug nuts nor communication from drop shipper
Asked for partial refund in the amount of $52.75 (cost of the lug nuts I bought purchased, included a screenshot of the Amazon order)
10/4
Received a response from Kim that she would get with her boss and get back to me
10/23
Emailed to ask for update as I had never heard anything else
No response from this email or any further communication
Summary
I have asked to be made whole (have correct spacers and lug nuts that I ordered for the price agreed upon) via a partial refund that covers the additional cost I incurred for other lug nuts.
I have not asked for any discount due to poor experience or compensation for my time sourcing and procuring correct parts elsewhere.
Unable to ever reach anyone via phone, only email would get a response.
It has been almost 4 months since I placed the original order, had I not bought lug nuts elsewhere, I still wouldn’t be able to actually install the parts on the car.
As it stands, Weapon-X has failed to honor the agreement and determined ~$50 is worth more than their reputation.
I also am currently going through a similar experience with Weapon x. I bought a Nick Williams 103mm throttle body on 1/2/22. Paid for it immediately via Apple Pay and was charged immediately. I know lead times are up on shipping but I haven’t received any correspondence on a shipping time or anything back after numerous emails as to when the product will be shipped or in stock. I asked for a refund and was told I could get store credit or a refund after paying a 10% restocking fee. (Fine print shady bs) Real shady way to operate a business and pass the buck onto your customers. 10% fee for restocking an item that isn’t even in stock. If that’s not a scam I don’t know what is.
Sorry about your experience there. To long of a story but had my Corvette at their shop and ended up having it towed to another shop needing a new motor after having work done at their shop….
Here’s a few pictures after having cam & a few other things done . Probably less than 500 miles after getting it back. I was told “it’s common” for the valve stems to break . What do you think ?
