I bought a car cover back in December from RPI Designs and finally received a tracking number on 2/1/22. Since the sent the tracking number they charged my credit card. As of today I still don't have the car cover and can't get anyone to respond to emails or phone calls. Has anyone else had issues with these guys?
I've ordered numerous painted panels from RPI Designs. Always have to wait at least four weeks for my merch to be delivered. I contact them via email from their site and have always received a reply to my inquiries. They do hit your credit card when they receive your order. Be sure to create an account with them for more and quicker access to your order status without trying to wonder thru their site. They have always given me good service and the painted parts are top notch. I'm going for the monochrome look replacing all black panels with Torch Red.
Not returning emails or phone calls is completely unaccepted for any company and exhibits poor customer experience on every level. There is simply no excuse!
They resell products and given all the supply chain issues affecting most businesses, I'm not surprised at any delay in shipping. But there is no excuse for not responding to customer inquiries. Given its now 40 days since "shipping", I would file a dispute with my credit card company on the transaction.
Shipping issues are everywhere, I'm going to back off of this one because the last time I ordered from them was about 3 or more years ago. I didn't have any problems then. Good luck to you.

Just a suggestion, but if you want to know about a vendor's track record on the forum, try doing a search in the Transactions Feedback section. Both good and not so good experiences are documented there.

Supply chain issues are one thing but there are no excuses for poor customer service
Nothing in junk mail, the FEDEX tracking number just states that it has been created. Finally received a response after posting on the forum and sending an email. As a business owner myself, you can't just ignore a customer's problem. It won't go away!
Hopefully they'll refund the charge and I can move on with life...

I totally agree, thats why I refuse to ever again do business with EOS. In my experience, their customer service was a joke....they don't have any, and what they try to have was terrible.

The Fedex "shipping label created" is a ploy used by many businesses these days, same with USPS shipping labels. Companies that are out of stock will created a shipping label but nothing is actually shipped. Keeps the customer hanging on longer. I've had to deal with that on Amazon, too. Because it says it is in shipping, retailers or resell marketplaces (like Amazon) will force you to wait longer if it shows as shipped (which creating a shipping label does) before you can create a refund request. To me it's an unscrupulous business practice. A good business based on customer referral (versus purely mass marketing) will communicate with their customers and allow customers to make a choice. If you don't have it in stock and are having a harder time than anticipated getting it, let the customer know. Even if the customer chooses to go somewhere else for this item because someone else has it, the respect will be appreciated and the customer will likely try again. Go dark and use misleading business tactics will guarantee a lost customer for life.
Ya I worked my career in a customer focused business. I always coached my team that if you get a complaint, respond to the client immediately even if you dont have the answer. Just be honest with them. The client wants to know you have heard them and we are going to fix the problem.
The complaints are always the same with them and started before pandemic. Surprised people still order from them. I think they have other businesses names also found here on the message boards.
Do your research before buying folks, just sayin.....
