Paragon Performance Disappointment
I purchased a carbon fiber steering wheel for my C8 for $1619 shipped. The steering wheel is gorgeous, except that it was advertised as having heated steering wheel function and it did not work when I installed it. I took mine on and off and compared it to my OEM steering wheel. I noticed that there is a yellow wire that is missing on the Paragon steering wheel, and further research indicated that is in fact the wires for the heated steering wheel function. After exchanging emails and pictures, Korey emailed me and admitted that it was probably a defect from GM because they purchased the steering wheel directly from GM. He would have a new one produced, which would take 10-12 weeks. I was ok with that, although when I ordered, it only took 4 weeks from order to actual delivery date. (Ordered Nov. 14, 2022 and delivered at my house Dec. 15, 2022). I waited for 10 weeks, and emailed back. Korey said sorry, not yet, maybe in a few weeks.
Now, it's been more than 14 weeks, and I sent them 4 emails, and NO REPLY. Luckily I ordered through Paypal and so have 6 months to dispute. I filed a dispute, and the very next day Jeremy from Paragon replied to my emails that went unanswered the week before, but it was not what I expected.
He basically said, no steering wheels ETA, so if I want, I can return for a refund. If you go on their website right now and order the same one, it say 6-8 weeks. So I will be returning this steering wheel. I have to take it off my car, and pay with my own money to ship back, so I will be out at least $50-60 for this. Not cool, Paragon Performance. I wonder if they ever ordered a new steering wheel.
I also purchased their 20mm spacers. No matter what I do, even shaving off the front mud guards, it still rubs. So I am taking off the front spacers. I think they should have a disclosure on their link about rubbing issues.

In all fairness to Paragon, if they are in fact getting their steering wheels from GM, then it doesn't surprise me that there is no eta for delivery seeing how the parts shortage is an ongoing problem
