Scam Alert
I got scammed last night by "Broj" out of $50. I have always trusted anyone on this site and some others that I am on. After I made the payment, sometime last night I received an email from Corvette Forum warning me of the person.
I have now read the article on how to avoid being scammed, a little smarter now.
He used the phone number 934-201-2971. First he used the address of yipuksjsgnouxdx@hotmail for pay pal. It wouldn't go through so he gave me byebzzo7667@hotmail.com, Pay pal name Trttu Groop, and it went through. He asked for friends and family which I found out this morning that it cannot be protested unless it is for goods and services.

He texted me Saturday that the "free" shipping is a bit steep and would cost a few bucks. For a part that will fit in a small USPS boX..... I let him know that I had reported him to Pay Pal and the forum.

Unless you fully know and trust someone, or you are 100% prepared to lose your money, never use Friends and Family.
