Default C6 Wheels

I bought a set of C6 OEM wheels. Will the C5 tire pressure sensors directly mount on to these wheels?

DeJay, I think I remember someone saying they had installed them on their C6 rims. Not to hijack your thread, but I'm unclear about the wheel offset on the OEM C6 wheels. Do you know how similar they are to the C5 wheels (or how different they fit inside the wheelwells)?

The 19x10 C6 has about a +79mm offset which will bring it in farther than the stock 18x9.5 C5 with a + 65mm or the Z06 18x10.5 wheel that has abaout a +58mm offset. There is enough clearance on the C5 to handle the higher offset except for the Z06 on which the wheels will hit the cooling ducts for the brakes. The 19x10 will not work on C4's.
The outside edge of the C6 will be in toward the car about 1/4 of an inch more than the stock C5 wheel and a little more than 3/4 of inch than the Z06 size wheel.

Got the wheels and tires installed yesterday. The tire pressure sensors went on, no problem. Car looks better with these new wheels. Now, if I knew had a camera to post pictures.

I just installed the 19x10's on my '89 coupe. I used a 1" wheel adapter for the rears. Worked out fine and they look good. The car could be lowered an inch due to the wide wheel look, but other than that, it is an easy job. If someone would post a pic for me, I will send it to you.

Thanks,
Dino

The replica wheel company Factory Reproductions Inc. offers the 19x10 C6 wheel in a +57 offset which is correct for the C5 . They also offer a Motorsport version as well.
