Default What is widest size for C6 front rim?
Would a 265/35/18 fit? Or would I need to go to a 265/30/18?

The 265/35/8 would be the better choice. It is closer to the diameter of the stock 245/40/18.

Could we put 275/40/18 in replacement for 245/40/18????

Is that wider or taller (not as low?)

That is both wider and taller. A better choice would be 275/35/18. Unfortunately you need a rim that is at least 9" wide to mount that size.

I don't know the width of the stock C6 front rim. If you do, the tire calculator will answer your other questions.
