I need help and any input from you guys. I'm looking to get new tires and some chrome wheels for my C5 coupe. (Can't decide on the look of the wheels C6, Z06, or C6Z06 chromies). But my question is does size matter in wheels? What size shall I go with in the FRONT: 17's or 18's ?
Choices: 17X9.5_____or_____18X9.5? Would it make ANY difference one way or the other in terms of performance ? Tires: 265/35 should do it for me.

(I do wanna keep 18's in the back for sure, probably 10.5 or 11 inch width).

I'm in a lil rush to make a decision, so really need your help . Thanks in advance...

Default steers easier

Just put 17x8.5 wheels on my c4 with 245/45-17 's on front , had 17x9.5's with stock 275/40 17 before. I like the stock c5 front size for driving around town (8.5) , steering has a much faster feel to it !!

On front a 17x9.5 with a 265, and a 18x10.5 with a 305 tire would look great! On my car I have those tires sizes with a 10" front and 11" rear and the tires tuck just at fender line, but if I decide to go racing I can put on some real sticky wide tires.

I would go 18s all around. 18x9.5" up front w/ 275/35/18 tires and 18x10.5" out back with 295/35/18. Good luck.
