Default Help determining HRE wheel offset

I know the numbers stamped on the back of the HRE mounting surface indicate the style/size/offset of the wheel, but I'm not sure which numbers are which value. I have a wheel with the following numbers stamped on it. Can anyone tell me the offset or backspacing? Thanks.

Offset is the distance from the wheel mounting flange to the center of the rim. This is usally expressed in millimeters.

Backspace is the distance from the flange to inside edge of the wheel. This measurement is usually expressed in inches.

I know what the terms mean. I'm looking for the actual values based on the numbers stamped on the wheel. Specifically, I'm wondering if the numbers after the letter 'P' indicate the hub hole diameter and the offset.

The 20189 may be a julian date when the wheel was made: 20= year 2000 189= julian date 189=July 7

Hard to say what the other number is; could be sequence number, production run, plant number, an employee number or simply the style and finish.

There is a "Contact us" tab on the HRE website http://www.hrewheels.com/contact/ so you might be able to get specific info from them.

The Julian date hypothesis sounds like it could be right. Before I knew the stamped numbers, I called HRE and asked how to determine the offset. Vince at HRE told me the offset was indicated by a number after the 'P.' Once I got the actual value from the wheel, I realized Vince wasn't specific enough. Wihch numbers indicate the offset? Also, I wonder if the diameter of the center hole is indicated anywhere.

If you split the numbers after the P, they are 27, 65, and 20
27mm could be an offset value as could be 65 or even 20. The center hole size would most likely be the largest number at 65mm (slightly over 2.5") You could measure the hub center on the car to see if it's that size or slightly smaller.

Do you know what make and model of car the wheels came from?? That could help if you talked to HRE again to see what the offset would be for that car.
