Default Another 335/30 question

Hey guys,
I'm about to order a set of CCW wheels for my vette that I'm finishing an ECS paxton install on. I've decided to go with 275/35 up front and I was wanting to go with 335/30 in the rear (11.5's in the rear). By the way I'm going with 18's all around to get the best hookup, performance, etc out of it. I NEVER drive this car in rain or moisture but where I live in Mass it's not a good idea for me I think to get R compound nitto's cause I'll never get the heat into them for driving around town. The big problem comes from the fact that I'm going on a road trip in april and I won't have a choice if it's raining or not so I can't go with DR's or R compounds plus I want a tire setup for back and forth to work that will corner too. I'll get some DR's later on for stupid traction on the street and track. I was hoping to do the new Falken RT-615's but they won't come out in time (april to may release at the earliest) and only in 315 but I would be fine with that since they are so sticky. Then I was going to do the BFG KDW's in 335 but it won't be out by then either. So guys I'm looking for some good advice, suggestions, etc here and I know its like a repeat of everyone else but I have read old threads looking for new ideas!!

Hey, I have the BFG g-Force T/A drag radial in 315's on my rear 18x12's and they work great. You wont believe the hookup! I have not drove them in the rain so I dont know about that aspect of it. You will defintly need the traction with that paxton Good luck!

Yeah I've sadly been in the rain once with a set of DR's on another car and it was scary to say the least. Plus I want to be able to corner and not just go straight too for street use. In the future this year or next I'll do some dr's for the street to just have stupid traction.

I am running the Nitto RII 285/305 on 10x18 and 11.5x18. I would love to have a 315x35 tire in the back. Do you have some info on this Falken....is it R compound.

BTW I love me RII's....daily driver 50-100 miles/day and track car. Just drive slowly when freeways are wet!!!
