Default Few basic wheel questions

If I get new wheels with tires and don't add pressure sensors will there be an error message or something that will bug the computer? I also plan on buying 18" wheels all the way around, will 18x9.5 be too much in the front with 295-35-18? Is this the biggest tire I can run on these in the rear for this rim? I wish they made these rims wider but they don't they are the Privat Profil wheels (black gloss with the chrome lip). Thanks for any advise.

C5Aggie03,

I run 18x9.5 on the front with 275x35x18 with no issues.

Ask Luke from Tirerack about the rears. 295 on the 18x9.5 may be a little big but there are probably those who are doing it successfully.

You'll need to delete the TPM system from the BCM to make the error message go away (ref: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ost1559290900). 295s are too wide for a 9.5" wide rim (ref: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp).
