C5 TPS timeframe
How long does it take for the tire pressure sensors to transmit a new tire pressure?
I was getting a low pressure warning for two of my tires so I pumped them to 30psi. It took about six miles of driving before the reading on the dash went from 24 to 31 psi.

Once you start driving over about 20 mph they start transmitting once per minute.
So....After you get to 20 mph it will probably take at least 1 minute. Your 6 miles sounds a little excessive, but maybe that's a C5 thing.
