That is ENTIRELY a personal choice type thing...get whatever you like. The biggest tires you CAN run on that are 255 in the front and 295's in the rear...they will be a little pinched but you can lower the air pressure a little and they will be ok...Personally, the largest I'd go on those wheels is 245 front, 285 rear. As far as type of Rubber, what's one persons gold is another's poison...ANY choice I offered here would be followed with someone else saying thats a HORRIBLE tire and you need to use 'THIS' tire, etc...With that said, I've used BFG's KDW's as they offer great traction, and better wear than some of the others with a thread wear of 300AA...you can get stickier, but the life will be reduced somewhat..it just depends on how you use them.
Nice post Maverick. What are you going to do with your car. If just pleasurable driving then go for a long lasting still a little sticky tire. The more stick the more gravel you're going to pick up and beat your paint with. And you're going to have a good bit shorter tread life.
If you're going to road race then you have to decide on whether to have racing tires for the track and others for off track. If you're going to drag then another decision.
