Its time, time for tires, my invoice says 11-16-1976 ???
Gosh, some of the readers of this are not that old.
I think there is about 15-20,000 mile on them
BF Goodrich radial TA
Back tires LR50-15
Front tires GR60-15
They are on American Vector mags
I think the back mags are 10"
front mags are 8"
I need LR50-15 and GR60-15 converted to metric sizes first
The TAs look ok, what are some other options ?
Thanks for your input

These are close approximations as there's no exact cross-reference:
GR60-15...P255/50R15
LR50-15...P295/60R15
The 255's should present no problem, it's a pretty common size...in fact, an authorized size for '78-'82 C3's. You may well have problems finding tires in the 295 size...at least trouble finding matching tires from the same manufacturer for both sizes.
Which brand is opening a can of worms here...everyone has their own preferences and experiences. I've had very positive experiences with BFG, Dunlops and the Cooper Cobra. Availability make make the decision for you.
BTW - the correct size for a pre-'78 C3 is a 70 series tire on 8" rims.
