Default Quiet tires

I'm looking for tires that are quiet. I want the least amount of road noise possible. 275/40 17. Any recomendations?

What kind of car are they going on? RFs or non-RFs?

They are on 92 Vette, stock size. Non run flats. Thanks for your reply and please let me know. I've been looking at tire rack and the yokahama s-drives are rated highest on noise comfort. Thanks again leadfoot.

I recently purchased a set of tires in that size for my DD Camaro. I looked at the Yokos, but wound up with the Fuzion ZRi, because it was significantly less money. Even though the Camaro is daily driven, it still doesn't see a lot of miles, so I couldn't justify the more expensive tire.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty well pleased with the Fuzions, but I heard that they are recently discontinued...even though I called Bridgestone headquarters before I bought them, and they said, "No there are no plans to discontinue that tire at this time". Either the time changed, or then again, I might have heard an incorrect rumor. I don't like having tires that are no longer available, because if you have an issue with one, then you wind up with a mixed set....

I dont remember exactly, but i think it ends soon. Sumitomos and the KDW2's that I was looking at were priced lower than they were a week ago.
