Default tpms help

ever since i put on my 19/20 rims and tires on my 08Z i have had problems with my TPMS sensors. it's only the front's as they are held in place by bands. basically one or the other TPMS sensor stops reading and i get the XXX in the DIC. it then triggers the service tire..... message on the dash. then maybe drive for a few minutes and the TPMS sensor that wasnt working is now working but the "service tire...." message in the dash wont stop indicating until the car has been turned off and then restarted. anyone run into this?

TPMS sensors use the valve stem as an antenna and with them strapped inside of the wheel the signal may not be strong enough to get to the reciever

Did you mount your sensors across from your valve stem? Another thing is your sensor might have fallen out of the strap. If you dont tighten them down real tight they will fall out.

these are 19 spec fives. not sure where the local installer mounted the tpms inside the wheel. all i know is they have to put the car on a lift in order to reset the system. the rears have no problems. couldnt get a reply from your predecessors so it would be great if you can tell me what the best way is to mount the tpms sensors on the 19 inch fronts. it would be greatly appreciated.

i swear it works then hit a small bump and one will go out then reappear after a few minutes etc. the indicator in the dash doesnt turn off until the car has been turned off then when it is restarted no problem...
