Default Wheel spacers

Putting 93 Sawblades on my 75 but need 3 inch spacers to keep back spacing correct. Any ideas?

Thanks,

George

there used to be an adapter used to put C5 wheels on F-body cars which was almost 2" ... You might have to get a 3" spacer/adapter custom made

Hello buddies!

The wheels will be unbalanced and insecure and that could cause a multitude of problems, least of which could be the wheel shearing the bolts and flying off,,causing you to die in a horrible and untimely fashion.

Yeah, well they are not going to be driven on the street at first until the rubber is no longer usable. I am using this set-up for autocross. Balance not an issue as speeds won't be high enough. And, so long as everything is installed correctly and torqued regularly I think you are being overly dramatic.

there is a lot more stress on the wheel mounting hardware during an AutoX than you think

Wheel spacers are most commonly used to ensure that a particular set of wheels will fit properly on a vehicle if the wheels have the incorrect offset. If wheels interfere with suspension components or body work in the inner wheel arches, then installing a set of wheel spacers may solve this problem by locating the wheels further away from the body work. On the other hand, wheel spacers can potentially cause interference issues since they may locate the wheels closer to the fender lips and body work around the fender openings.BMW Parts..

We know what spacers do but, the problem comes from when the wheels are pushed out to a point where the center hub of the car is no longer engaged with the center bore of the wheel as lug studs are not designed to support the weight of the vehicle.

to the OP if you are still looking for them www.optionsauto.com sells spacers
