Default Runflat replacements

Im looking to replace my stock EMT's on my '98. Fronts are still really good, Rears are BALD! I dont necessarily need runflats - Id like to keep costs down. My question is - should I just replace the 2 EMT Goodyears or buy all 4 new of some other brand? I priced BFG gFORCE KDW's. Are they decent? I want the longest treadwear. Any opinions appreciated

I think the Michelin Pilot Sports will give you the longest wearing tires, either the non-runflats or the new A/S ZPs. The comments in the magazines about the new A/S tires has been very good. My new A/S ZPs go on in the next few days.

Your problem with only replacing the rear EMTs is that when they are half worn your present fronts will need replacement. My fronts are in good shape too but I am replacing all four tires.
