Question on Hankook vs Continential
Guys,
I just purchased a set of TSW Nurburgring wheels since they are .5 wider than stock I am going to add a set of 305/30/19 & 265/35/18. I am done with the runcraps. I am going to use these for general weekend drives and a couple HPDE. I am a beginner and done 2 other events and not that great but learning Hopefully after these tires are gone I will be ready for some dot tires. Wheel specifics:
(2) 17x9.0 TSW Nurburgring +50 offset
(2) 18x10.5 TSW Nurburgring +65 offset
Here is the question on tire rack the more reasonable tires that I see are Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 for $1322.00 score 9.0, Continental ExtremeContact DW for $1026.00 score 8.5 and Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 for $826.00 score 7.9. Here is my thought the Hankook got to be better then the OEM runflats and hate to spend more when these are going to get chewed up at the 1st HPDE I do.
Does anyone have any track experience with any of these tires and road experience?
