Purchased new ZR-1 17 X11 Rear Wheels for my 86 Coupe.
Your Option on tire brands for [ Weekend Cruiser] size 315\35 \17

Welcome to the forum. Everybody is great here and you will find all information you need. If you have any concerns about how much $$ you are spending, go with the Sumitomos from http://www.tirerack.com They are dirt cheap compared to everything else and I have heard good things about them. If you don't care about the almighty buck than I would go with the Michelin Pilot Sports.

I have 315s too. I have the Pilot Sports. They are a great tire, but aren't cheap. Maybe look into the Pirelli P7000. They aren't the greatest tire for traction, but do have a very good wear rating and the price isn't bad. If you just daily drive, it should be a good tire. Just go to tire rack and look around. I think there's only like 6 different tires in size 315.
