We have been working very closely with the United States Marine Corps and their staff over the last couple months in preparation for our Toys for Tots Car Show and Cruise event (11-20-11). In the course of the preparation we have learned so much about the core principles of the Marine Corps, along with their legacy, tradition and long standing dedication.

Established back in November of 1775 the United States Marine Corps was engaged in every conflict our nation was involved in. Using the mobility of United States Navy to make an impact on almost any battlefield anywhere in the world, they are in most cases, first to go in the action.

As citizens of this great country, we tend to forget the sacrifices that are made by the Marine Corps, and other branches of the armed services to maintain our safety and liberty. Regardless of any personal opinion, we all as citizens can agree to one thing, we appreciate what these brave men and women are doing for us!!!

In a bizarre turn of luck, during this week leading up to our charity event, the Marine Corps are celebrating their 236th birthday! We were kicking some ideas around of what we could do to show our appreciation to them … after some really bad suggestions and some funny ones, we came up with an easy solution: A Serviceman Special!!!
