Why are wheels so difficult to find for my 05 base? I hear because of wierd bolt pattern? Has to be custom drilled?

WEIRD BOLT PATTERN???? Who told you that??? It's the same 5x4.75" pattern that GM has been using since the 1950s! The "difficulty" if there is any, is finding the correct rim width and offset.

Mostly offset of the rear wheel as they are a +79 and rarely used. 5x120.65 is also a bolt pattern specific to GM where as 5x114.3 is widely used on the imports and can be used on multiple application.

Custom wheels are easy to find, for a C6 standard. It just depends on how much you want to spend.
