Sorry if this has been asked & answered before but a search didn't turn it up.

Who makes replacement tires in stock Z06 sizes? Tire Rack only lists two - GY supercars and Michelin P Zeros. There must be other tires out there in the stock Z06 sizes but nobody seems to list them. Not interested in plus 1, 19 or 20 inch, etc. Any help will be appreciated. TIA. :cheers:

The only other ones I've found are the Toyo Proxes T1, which you can get at http://www.treadepot.com/

Personally, I'll probably stick with the Goodyears until something better comes along.

Thanks! I've got less than 900 miles on the car so this isn't really an issue but I'm sorta looking for a better wet weather tire if there's something out there. :seeya

The Toyo's are suppose to be pretty good in the wet.

the toyo t1s is killer in the wet weather, keep in mind these tires run narrow. a 295/265 combo might look a little odd on z06 wheels. i've used the 295's & they aren't bad at all. kuhmos MX is a good dry/wet tire but you'd have to get a 295/275 combo. i have the tires on my z06 wheels if you'd like pics before you try a 275 up front.

Just did a check of the GY website. The F1 Supercar tire isn't listed anymore; I guess the only ones left are at the factory or in dealer stock. The official GY replacement tire for the Z06 is the F1 GS-Fiorano tire, which appears (from the photo) to have more tread and better wet weather performance than the Supercar tire. Anybody have any experience with these tires? TIA :seeya

The supercar tires are part of the Fiorano line. The sizes you see listed in that line are specifically for the supercar Z06 tires. See Tirerack.com for more info: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....le+F1+Supercar

Thanks. The Tire Rack blurb aside, the GY site doesn't use the term Supercar and the photo appears (to me) to show a different tread.

Still not convinced it's the same tire but then it doesn't matter for at least another 15K miles :)
