Runflat Installation
My car originally came with these and I replaced them with inexpensive Kumhos which are now wore out.
Regardless of what Goodyear says, can I install EMT's using conventional tire changing equipment without damaging my OEM rims?
Thanks!
Also, the tech "needs" to be certified in the operation, as far as Goodyear is concerned. If not done properly, you just wasted all that moey on the tires & may have to buy a new air-monitor system for the rims, not cheap. Not sure what machine you're using but be smart in your decision.

I don't have a machine. I was just wondering if any tire store can do it.
I'm assuming you are talking about C5's with F1's. The air sensor on a C4 is not mounted on the valve stem. It's strapped around the wheel in the center of the rim. The Goodyear dealer in the small town I live in says he can't do it.
The closest GY dealer that says they can is 50 miles away. I've found two mom and pop shops that claim they're not a problem to install, but like you said I want to be sure.
