Depends on what your removing it from..my experience is to take it to a plating shop, they will do it, without ruining what you are doing. If it aluminum, you could glass bead it, but then you would need to polish it smooth again...or ???
i talked to a a guy the other day and he has coverted his sand blaster over for blasting aluminum and what he used is crushed fine walnut shells but weather it will bring chrome off that i dunno yet but i got all the chrome off one will lol trusty ol knife and hook pick :thumbs:

:eek: how long did that take? was the chrome already in bad shape, i have thought of looking for cheap chrome wheels in bad shape to do myself
