Problems with EVO wheels.
I purchased a set of EVO Axis SL wheels from The Tire Rack about 6 months ago and the chrome is coming off. Has anyone else had problems with them and will EVO or The Tire Rack stand behind them? :mad

That was my reason for posting on the board, to see if others had the same problem and to see who they were in contact with. Once I find the best way to resolve my problem you bet your sweet butt they will be contacted!

they are covered under warranty ... give us a call to resolve this ASAP .... Weld did send some wheels out to a sub-contractor for chroming and had, we'll say "some" issues with the final product but, since then they perform all of the chrome plating themselves and they do stand behind the 5 year chrome plating warranty

I have had those wheels for a year now and haven't had any problems so far.
I heard of someone a few months ago here on the forum with the same problem. I believe there was a batch of wheels that were sold that had problems with the chroming. Good luck.
