Will 255/45-17 Tires fit 9.5" Rim ??
Bought a set of 17x9.5 Z06 repro rims.
My 94 has stock size tires that are nearly new so I would like to reuse them.
They are 255/45-17 front and 285/40-17 rear.
Stock rims are 17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 rear.
Will the front tires fit safely on 1" wider rims??
One tire shop I went to says it might be ok but obviously wanted to sell me new tires in 275/40-17.
I would prefer not to since my present tires are still very good??
Any ideas on this
