I think its going to replace meth injection and allow for full E85 for many builds. I know a couple of clients who are considering pulling the trigger and ditching the meth so I should know more about the limits soon.

Current mods:
Kong X ported factory blower
NX blower lid with meth injection into lid
Running 100% meth, not 50/50 boost juice
2.3 upper
9.2 lower
dsx flex on e50 blend
dsx aux low side 320lph pump
tsp blower cam with 32% fuel lobe
Rotofab CAI
103 NW throttle body
headers, catless X pipe, Borla Atak catback
FI interchiller
I might be forgetting something but you get the idea.

After installing Caleb Wisher’s kit, I ditched my entire meth setup and uninstalled the Dsx flex sensor. I opted to use the sensor Caleb’s kit had.

Tuning was also straight forward. My tuner, Derek Dunbar, had me dialed in within 3 revisions. No brainer to install. Just pinning 2 wires to the ECU. 1 of them was replacing my current ethanol sensor wire. You just have to install a custom OS via HP Tuner’s that Caleb emails over.

I’m now running on full E85 (it’s actually testing at 87% at the good gas station nearby).

I’m open for any questions. Ask away!

Do you think fuel will fall out of suspension being injected at the beginning of the intake track? Will fuel be evenly distributed between cylinders?

They have a write up where they tested the fuel distribution on an engine dyno and fuel distribution between all the cylinder was pretty even.

What kind of power does your car make? My setup is almost the same as yours but I am pullied a little harder. 2.25" Upper and 9.45" lower. I have the twin M15 meth into the intake tube. TSP cam as well but I have more high side with the Katech Goliath HPFP and XDI +30% injectors. I ordered the Magnuson 2650 and the Wisher kit for it as well. We are going to see if this system can handle 1000-1025rwhp on full E85.

So what I'm gathering is that this is really made to replace meth systems on these cars and you won't really see the benefits until you have your low side upgraded in some way. Or if you just wanted to save $ vs full port setup.

Exactly. In my opinion, there’s 3 fueling strategies at the 900whp level.

port + low side
aux injection + low side
meth + low side

The top 2 above allow for running full e85. The bottom option still restricts you to an e50-ish blend.

Of course a cam with a bigger fuel lobe in all 3 applications is beneficial.

And I didn’t mention upgraded DI injectors or HPFP because that doesn’t seem to be the popular, cost effective route.

Currently I am at 925rwhp on full E85, there is no such thing as Full E50. I have a DSX low side with their 320lph pump, Katech Goliath, XDI+ 30% injectors with an Alky Control dual M15 meth kit and I am very close to being out of fuel again. I ordered the Wisher AuxJection kit and we will see if I can push it to 1000-1025 rwhp on full E85 and ditching the meth. If it handles it then possibly E90. We will see...

lol I meant full e85. I’m trying to do too many things at once when typing that reply. I’ll go edit my previous post.

Katech claims their Goliath HPFP can do 1,300hp on E85 with a cam that has a full 8mm fuel lobe. Does your cam not have an increased fuel lobe?

The Goliath isn't the problem the XDI 30% injectors are.. I have a 32% fuel lobe

I disagree with this being a replacement for meth. (just my opinion, not meant as argumentative)
it's a budget way to support more fuel.
But lowering it to "replacing meth" is kind of a disservice in my opinion. It's like saying Port Injection is a replacement for meth.

it's definitely a saving compared to Port and it is having promising results from numerous tuners now.

The biggest problem with Meth is reliability. If the system runs out of meth, you forget to purge, nozzle gets clogged or the pump just fails you could lose an engine if you rely on meth heavily for a source of fuel. When it works it great. High octane fuel, allows your fuel system to go further and the cooling factor. I have been running my meth system for 2 years and had a few issues with it over that time. The pump degrades over time not just totally fail and will spray less and if you are not datalogging all the time then its a ticking time bomb. Never assume just because the light is green and the kit is working that you are all good.

What size injectors would max out the Goliath?

Good question, I don't know for sure. I know you can run +50% but not sure on the +65%. The problem with the bigger injectors are drivability from what I am told.
