It was easy to install. I am NOT mechanically inclined, and the only real issue was working in the tight space under the dash. One thing of note is the 2026 Z has a more continuous leather panel under the center console than C8 models built before 2026 and that makes it impossible to run the hardwire for the display into the glove box. The panel now runs under the whole center console to the back wall. On older models it has a break right before the glove box and it allows you to run the wire hidden into the glove box. So, I had to hide the wire under that panel until I was right under the glove box latch and then pop it out and run it along the latch assembly.... i.e. a small part of the wire is exposed now.

I found that after my test run, the car seemed to run hotter and therefore required the radiator fans to run for a while after shutting down, whereas, before soler, that likely would not have happened based on the type of driving I did. However, this makes total sense to me, and I don't see it as a problem. Just good to know.

I did NOT know that you could remove the hardwired display from inside the car and JUST use the phone app. That is great news as I was wondering, while in lock mode, how having the display somewhere in the vehicle would be much of an anti-theft deterrent if the hard wire display was found inside the car by a would-be thief? Again, removing the display makes it a much better theft deterrent. This likely will allow me to just tuck the hard wire display completely under the side leather panel and just pull the wire out it out if needed (if my phone is not with me or something).

Lastly, I was a bit surprised that in lock mode the car could be put into drive or reverse and it would idle forward or back. No one ever says that in the reviews, and I think that would be helpful info to know. It's not really an issue, in my opinion, as it would just result and a hilarious slow speed chase by the police or by me on foot.... LOL

Great product and I highly recommend it.
also, there’s a tunnel to feed wire from driver to passenger side, I used it for radar sector wire. I can take a pic if you don’t find it but it’s just a few inches behind where the center dash runs out. You might have been eye level with it while installing the controller.

I had a bit of a scary issue yesterday....

Drove to the store, parked and locked the throttle from my phone app as a theft deterrent, as I always do. When I went back to the car and started it, I had somehow lost the blue tooth connection between my phone app and the throttle, and I could not unlock the throttle from my phone. So, NO GAS PEDAL!

When I originally installed the throttle controller, I had completely removed the hard wire module from the car since I was going to only use the phone app (I was worried that if someone broke in, they would find the module and figure out how to reactivate the throttle). After multiple struggles with getting my Bluetooth back up, I was finally able to unlock the throttle. I had a minor panic attack during that interval thinking I'll have to call a tow truck or just limp home at idle! I think the cause of this issue was my apple CarPlay connection and my phone were out of sync due to my hooking up a new CarPlay connection on another car I just bought. I somehow turned off CarPlay on my Vette connection and did not know it.

My solution to this when I got back home was to put the module back inside the car, but to hide it somewhere but leave it disconnected from the hard wire. This will allow me to plug the module back into the hard wire (which is also hidden behind the carpet) if I need it for another emergency situation. Any thief would have to find both the hidden throttle module and the hidden hard wire to get the throttle working again.

Not sure if anyone has had this issue, but I wanted to share this incident and the solution with you all so you don't have a panic attack like I did!

Any feedback on the throttle controller on the E-Ray? Does the front motor engage more frequently? I find the stock throttle does not really engage the front motor unless I am almost flooring the throttle. Is the transition still smooth?
