Flag Day Corvette Celebration
World‑Record Attempt: American Flag Formed by 400+ Corvettes on Belle Isle
On Flag Day, June 14th, 2026, Larry & Verna Courtney, owners of Michigan Corvette Events, will lead Corvette owners from more than ten states in creating a World‑Record American Flag made from over 400 Corvettes on Belle Isle, Detroit.
This event is a celebration of unity, patriotism, and the 250th Anniversary of the United States. Corvette owners from across the country — different backgrounds, different generations, different stories — will come together as one team to form a single American Flag. It is a moment of Americans standing side‑by‑side, honoring the nation we share.
As part of this historic gathering, we will also raise support for four Veteran‑focused charities:
