Hello,
Note the hose and clamp!
The hose is a fairly large diameter and thin-walled.
Regards....

Alan's pictures show it well - Thanks Alan. I don't have one and didn't find it on the vendor sites so I couldn't post a picture...

I may have one of those. Send me a PM and I'll go find it and send pics.
Where does that hose go to? My 72 only has the cap on the bottom. I've never seen a hose on it.

A thick hose is mounted to the tube and clamped with a yellow clamp or as a black clamp as in Alans picture
The tube just lays onto the splash pan
If you don't have the tube then yours is missing

Hose
[QUOTE=grantstigers;1609639519]
A thick hose is mounted to the tube and clamped with a black clamp that has a mfg mark like a diamond and the end tangs are sharp straight edges or some doesn’t have a clamp
The tube is attached to the end plastic tube and just lays onto the splash pan
If you don't have the tube then yours is missing
Hope this helps

Pretty sure 71 was the last year for that extension hose. 72 won’t have one…. for sure not used anymore on 73 and later cars

Thanks for posting this. My 72 never had the hose (since 1981 when I bought it) and doesn't look like it ever had one..no marks, scuffs.
