Mine switches from 4 to 8 and I never know it or feel it. I am not going to worry about what might happen and just enjoy driving it.
I don't notice the switch either. if my back window is down and I am paying attention I can hear the shift. But my concern stems from what I have seen from doing a little research on Gemini and...

This could also be the result of dirty clutch fluid and the fix may be as easy as replacing the clutch fluid. Do a search for 'Ranger method' which details the process of replacing the fluid. I would...
Absolutely do the "ranger method" FIRST before anything else! It is literally so easy to do AND costs almost nothing but brake fluid, a very small amount, no less. HINT: Exchange the Clutch brake...

Tire pressure on tire sidewall is the max for that tire cold, not the tire pressure setting for the car. I guarantee the original tires showed 50 psi max too. You always go by the car...

So mostly likely, long story short, i will need the lifter with the link bars?
YES. And, Good Link-Bar Roller Lifters are MUCH more expensive than are Good OE Type Roller Lifters. There are bargain-basement chinesium lifters being traded underneath nearly every rock; run....

I disagree with this being a replacement for meth. (just my opinion, not meant as argumentative) it's a budget way to support more fuel. But lowering it to "replacing meth" is kind of a disservice...
The biggest problem with Meth is reliability. If the system runs out of meth, you forget to purge, nozzle gets clogged or the pump just fails you could lose an engine if you rely on meth heavily for...
