You could always look into aftermarket castings which are superior anyways. Probably more money but you'll have no valve drop worries. Brodix, Trickflow, PRC, Frankenstein, Mast Motorsports etc. And...
This would be my choice if fixing heads. I’d call Tony Mamo and get a set of his aftermarket units and either sell the stock heads to offset the cost some, or stick them on a shelf if you don’t wish...

Too busy to give an account of each nut and bolt, but the balancer is on. WHAT a difference that installation tool makes! Radiator is set in but not secured, etc. I'm hoping to test-fire it up...

I don't know how the paint lives at the body joints where is it is bolted together. I expect to see that on my 23, I have had the rear bumper off several times, no problems yet.

I freely admit, not sure what I am looking at, but am guessing the one on the left should look just like the one on the right.
No! They are supposed to be different lengths. Don’t forget the engine and drive train are designed to be offset to the passenger side.. Its obvious that the shorter axle is the passenger side.
