Default What is this sensor?

Hey all, doing some tune up changing out spark plugs. They were super tight from the previous owner and when number 4 broke loose, I snapped this sensor. What is it? I can't seem to find a direct replacement as I originally thought is was A/C but the female fittings are all too big (1985 z51).

Is this it, working from memory only.
If so you might need to climb under the hood of some old GM vehicles in a Junkyard.

It could be, I've bought a few low pressure cycling switches and they were all too big. Are these no made anymore?

That is on the liquid line so it is a high pressure switch.

EDIT: The original part # is 10007057 but may be discontinued. You'll have to trace from here.

Looks like your going to Junkyards, I know of a couple of couple of them in junk yards, one of them might ship. The other I'm not going to for awhile.
These guys would probably ship

There are (2) switches on that line. Both are Normally Closed contacts, but have different pressure thresholds and different connectors.
The one that is broken (larger connector) is the Compressor Clutch Cut Out. Basically a safety shutoff if high side pressure gets dangerously high such as if the electric cooling fan malfunctions.
The other one (small connector) is the cooling fan request switch. It opens to send a "fan request" signal to the ECM to turn on the cooling fan. (This input is independent of the Coolant Temperature input.)

I would suggest Mark at Mirrock as a source. He should have it, and he knows the C4 well enough because he's parted out hundreds of C4 that he will send you the switch you need the first time.
He has an e-bay store, but I find that an inquiry by email works well for what may not be in his e-bay store, and he generally does not take phone calls. info@mirrockcorvette.com
