Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I have no previous owner or documented history. I bought it from one of the large corvette dealers in Ohio in 1997. I have determined it started life as a 350 cid 350 Hp, 4 speed, factory sidepipe convertible car.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
My car currently sports a 355 CID 0010 4 bolt main block with an Edelbrock Perma Star Air gap manifold and rebuilt Qjet. Polished SS fuel lines from the pump to the carb with AC 432 fuel filter. A BeCool aluminum rad, Stewart stage 1 water pump and flex fan. A 700r4 auto with a 3.70 rear gear. Original GM side pipe covers over custom built exhaust pipes. Exhaust is S/S shorty headers to 2 1/2" S/S pipe to Classic Chambered Exhaust 50-50 chambered muffler, ending with a set of Sweet Thunder rectangle tips.
Suspension Modifications:
A shortened TRW rear fiberglass spring with Bilstein sport shocks all around. Adjustible rear strut rod assembly, aluminum rear end cross member support plates, front end tie bar and front sway bar end links. Urethane rear end snubber bushing, all custom built or modified by me.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Stock 15 X 8 Ralley wheels with custom mixed argent/green paint(as original),4 clip GM trim rings and GM center caps. B. F. Goodrich TA radials all around, 255 60's rear and 245 60's front.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Exterior is basicaly stock, Monaco Orange, repaint complete 9/7/2012 LT-1 hood, Chrome luggage rack. Right side mirror, fender louver inserts with the argent paint removed(chrome showing), Interior is black basic vinyl with the exception of the late model Camaro rear 3 point seat belts with GM logo buckles sewn on. The belts pass thru the custom upholstered Fiero seats with the speakers in the headrest. Radio is a Custom Auto Sound USA 2, 200 watt AM/FM pushing 4 Sony 3 1/2 in. speakers in the headrest and 2 6X9 three ways behind the seats. The sound system is nothing to brag about, but I can at least hear it now with the top down. I recently installed a late model C-3 steering wheel modified by me to look more like the 69 and recovered by Chuck Pelton. Recently installed a new stay fast cloth top (march, 2011). Really makes the car look sharp, if you need the top up. LOL
Future Modifications:
