1986 corvette Auto. mfg date 9-18-85
came with med. gray metallic exterior and dove gray interior, digital environmental control, Bose, and cloth seats, iron heads. Engine came with right hand dipstick, one piece seal, but flat tappet cam.
Actually a pretty car when clean.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
383, pocket ported 113 heads with Comp cams springs and retainers, ZZ9 cam, comp cams roller tipped rockers, 52mm bbk throttle body, bosh lll injectors, relocated manifold temp sensor, low impedence plug wires, pertronix coil, 91 trans-am trans with the corvette servo, governor and valve body, corvette tailshft housing, and shortened shaft. 2500 stall converter, ported 1989 exhaust manifolds, true dual exhaust with dual bullet cats and H pipe, '90 vert mufflers, K&N air filter with a cut lid, 1989 water/oil cooler, Aux fan install, '94 LT-1 alternator with small pulley, 2 row aluminum radiator, 160 stat, power steering cooler, nothing special......just modded for convenience.
Suspension Modifications:
'84 Z51 solid front and rear sway bars, polyeurethane bushings, Bilstein shocks, polyeurethane shock bushings, C5 front brakes, Hawk rear pads, stock rear brakes.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
2001 C5 thinspoke wheels with 1 inch spacers, 17 inch fronts, 18 inch rears
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
repaint in '06, 1996 collector edition seats, cargo interior from a gray '90 corvette, seat belts from a gray '90 corvette, modified the dye/paint scheme of the door panels, dyed the interior plastic to 1996 dove gray color, bread loaf eliminator.
