My wife and I went for a 50 mile ride today. Compared to the C4 that I had, this Corvette has a much smoother ride. The brakes are much better. It’s a wonderful car to drive and I like the way it looks.

With all the horn honking and waves and cheers this car was getting yesterday in a small town in Virginia, you would have thought Sylvester Stallone, Johnny Depp or Paris Hilton was sitting in the driver’s seat. I also have a 2017 Stingray but this 2013 base model is more comfortable to drive. I am 6-foot-3. After seeing the black C6 on this post, I am inclined to sell the Stingray and search for a low-mileage black C6. (That is one beautiful Corvette.) I tend to buy only Corvettes with manual transmissions.

They want $42,185 for the 2014 Z51 2LT and it has 55,000 miles. It’s a manual transmission. It was in an accident in 2021 and the Carfax says it was minor damage to the front on the passenger side. I have been talking to a salesman and he said there is no damage visible. My only concern is the mileage. I really like the way the car looks. It is in another state and would involve driving 300 miles round trip to test-drive it.
